Licensing Hearing - Taxi View the reasons why item 433. is restricted Report of the Head of Legal & Democratic Services enclosed Minutes: The Sub-Committee received a report from the Head of Legal and Democratic Services requesting that they determine whethera private hire driver remained a fit and proper person to hold a private hire driver’s licence. The driver attended the hearing and made verbal submissions to the Sub-Committee and responded to questions from the Sub-Committee. The Sub-committee, having taken account of all the submissions, written and verbal, the provisions of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976, the Council’s Statement of Policy and Guidelines on Relevant Convictions (“the Policy”),the Council’s Infringement Scheme (“the Scheme”), the Council’s Policy for Licensing of Hackney Carriage Drivers and Vehicles, Private Hire Operators, Drivers and Vehicles and the references supplied, determined in the particular circumstances that the driver is a fit and proper person to hold a private hire driver’s licence, and that the licence be granted as applied for with no additional conditions or restrictions.
